Working in the games industry has its ups and downs, that's for sure. Without going into too much detail, I've seen people around me get laid off again and again and again, while still I've magically been able to keep my job. At the time of writing this, I'm still employed, nine years and counting. The resulting survivor's guilt and cynicism sucks, but I still like my job.

I've been involved in 7 released games so far.

Sniper Extinction

An obscure sniper game for Android, that never took off. It was pretty good in that it was more of a "real" game (with some artistic qualities, relatively) than 99% of its competitors. I think that's why it failed. It was not nearly aggressive enough in wringing money out of its players.

I don't have any screenshots or workfiles left at this point. I remember I made all sorts of things, like buildings, props, and weapons. And I wrote the start-of-mission texts, ugh.

Snipers VS Thieves

A much more successful mobile sniper game. I've made DLC for it, both rifles and masks, though I don't quite remember which masks I made. Some aliens, I think. I also made some loot safes for the menus.

The Gunk

My favorite game to work on thus far. A 3d platformer adventure set on a lush alien planet being polluted by a strange gunk. The vibes, and the music, in this game are so great, I love it. I made many environment assets, and a lot of level decoration, as well as QA.

Steamworld Build

A resource management game, with a city builder layer and a mining layer. I was only on this project for a couple of months, but I think I made like ten buildings and some assets for the mine.

Sackboy: A Big Adventure

I made many DLC costumes for this one, and ALSO... this is pretty fun, I made exactly one (1) asset that ended up in the base game, too. I can't remember exactly how that happened, but it did. It's a big flowerpot ^^

Steamworld Heist II

This is a strictly 2d turn-based strategy game, but they needed some sprite sheets made in 3d for things that could turn around 360 degrees, so I was brought in. Basically, all the ships on the world map are mine, including the mythical Kraken at the end of the game. I also did a lot of decoration in the levels, and a huge part of the work making dynamic rim lights work on the characters.

Lost in Random: The Eternal Die

A pretty cool roguelite. I suck at it, though I have managed to finish it, barely. I did most of the environment art and decoration in the finished game, including all of world 3 and world 4, which was a real confidence boost.
